Overhaul Description


OVERVIEW

Covering all services in the Consumer Assembly, this adds regreasing and repacking of the major bearing systems and complete removal and cleaning of all components. A quick trip through the ultrasonic cleaner finishes them up! It should be performed about every three years. Aside from the omission of frame prep services, it is more comprehensive than a Race Assembly. This process can take up to four hours to complete.

Quick check-over after a few miles to ensure everything is OK

New and used bicycles OR a frameset with necessary parts OR a frame/frameset where I'll spec the parts

Full deep cleaning and complete disassembly
New grease and lube basically everywhere (bearings, pivots, bushings)
Much more detailed cleaning (about the best there can be)
Greatest level of inspection
Significant reduction for nearly all additional labor
Plus a few other tricks, gotta keep some secrets
