Major Repair Description


OVERVIEW

This is another list of much bigger repairs most likely NOT to be encounterd during a full-bike service or during any particular season. These labor items are included in the cost of certain advanced services.

This covers the labor fees associated with a common set of significant repairs. All parts are extra, this is only labor! No parts included. This is for repair only, no upgrades, switchovers, etc.!

It is not for sale as a stand-alone item, available only as part of a pre-existing service or assembly package. Major Repair is included in Race Assembly, some of the Extended Service Plans, and partly in Consumer Assembly and Overhaul.

HIGHLIGHTS

Everything in Minor Repair
Wheel repair (not rebuilding)
Drivetrain replacement: cassette, chain, chainrings
Derailleur replacement and hanger alignment
Headset replacement (reaming, facing, and removing cups extra)
Bottom Bracket replacement (reaming and facing additional)
Replace any broken or malfunctioning necessary component except frame
This is not a crash replacement policy
